Gestural Chairs
This fiberglass reinforced concrete set of outdoor lounging chairs brings a viewers attention to the delicate and vexatious gestural profiles. Once seated, the natural curves of the body will lay along those of the chairs, bringing form and function together in a delightful way.
This project focused on creating a piece of furniture designed with intention and attention to detail. Through rigorous 3d modeling, both digitally and physically, I was able to design a chair set that stands out in an outdoor setting, but still honors organic forms and curves.
